“The popular Italian shop and restaurant (lunch is served from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. except on Monday, when Palazzone is closed) turns out a myriad of cakes and pastries from chocolate Caprese and ricotta and pear cakes to Napoleons and cannoli. As far as pies, take your pick: pumpkin, apple, apple crumb, chestnut with chocolate (“It’s delicious,” Palazzone said.).
